Green Minions (TrailWatch volunteer team), visited the old Hakka village in Lai Chi Wo and assisted in planting turmeric for the Policy for Sustainability Lab (Faculty of Social Sciences, HKU). In addition to experiencing farmers’ daily life, Anna, an indigenous inhabitant, shared with Green Minions the uniqueness of Lai Chi Wo through explaining the ecology and environment of Lai Chi Wo, as well as feng shui of Hakka architecture in the area.
